The housing is designed to be lightweight and waterproof. It is sealed with internal desicants to reduce the possibility of fungus growth, which is the major cause of cloudy optics in less carefully manufactured binoculars. In addition, thje binoculars are filled with a dry agent to prevent internal oxidation.
There is a central focusing wheel for easy focusing. The left eyepiece cannot be rotated where as the right eyepiece can be rotated to compensate for difference of eyesight between the right and left eyes.
